Susan J. Skoczen,
a contemporary jewelry designer who works primarily in sterling silver and 18k gold, actively maintains a small jewelry studio in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was born and currently resides. She is an instructor at the Hawken School.
Susan studied jewelry and metalsmithing primarily under the direction of Kathleen Browne and Louis Mueller.

In addition to her passion for the visual arts, Susan also recreationally enjoys tap and ballet dancing, court and beach volleyball, sewing, woodworking, painting, running, and raising her new Shetland Sheepdog, Josie.
